Third Story Films is a unique production company based in Washington D.C. We produce television commercials, music videos, and short corporate videos of all kinds. Our goal is to create stylish, innovative, offbeat, and most of all, effective content. We have worked all over the country and have an extensive network of film professionals to draw upon. Our backgrounds in film (Mike) and advertising (Marc) have given us a perspective that you don’t often find in this market. We also love kids and dogs.
Writer, director, editor Mike Million founded Third Story Films in 2001
while making his award winning short film “Undiscovered”. Mike is
currently directing his first feature film - "Tenure" - a comedy he wrote
starring Luke Wilson and David Koechner. He has also directed numerous
national and regional television commercials and is an accomplished
AVID/Final Cut Pro editor. Mike is represented by the Endeavor Agency and
studied screenwriting at the American Film Institute (LA).
Marc got his start producing in the advertising world at TBWA Chiat/Day.
He produced hundreds of radio and television commercials for their Nissan
client, and eventually moved away from the agency to become an independent
producer and focus on a broader range of content. Marc joined Third Story
Films after working with Mike on “Undiscovered” (co-producer,
co-editor). Marc is an award winning producer and editor of short and long
form projects including broadcast commercials, films and videos. Marc received
a B.A. in Communications from Wake Forest University in 1995.
